Rowan Design Manager David McCloud obviously thought he was still dreaming when he came to the Lady Sew and Sew Knits stand at the Knitting & Stitching Show just now to show off the company’s 2016 British Knitting Awards!
Rowan won three awards, presented by Let’s Knit magazine: editor Sarah Neal says that, “These awards are recognised across the industry as the highest of accolades because they are voted for entirely by the knitting public.”
So congratulations to Rowan, with whom we’re partnering at the show on stand TGB18, for winning Best Luxury Yarn Brand, Best Overall Yarn Brand and Favourite Pattern House. Some more for the trophy shelf, David!
Also on our stand today is designer Martin Storey (seen above with our Judy), who has a long and close association with Rowan, and is here signing his latest books, Scandinavian Knits and Knitted Afghans.
Come and see us on stand TGB18, and Lady Sew and Sew on stand G17 – today or tomorrow.
The Knitting & Stitching Show is at Alexandra Palace, London N22 7AY from October 5th to the 9th, and is open from 10am each day, with late opening on Thursday 7th until 7pm. Tickets are £14.50, with discounts available for concessions and juniors.
